Manganese

Nutriment MANGANESE (Manganese Sulphate) contains Manganese 30.5% and Sulphur 17%.

MANGANESE is an important micronutrient for plant growth and development and sustains metabolic rolls within different plant cell comportments. The metal is an essential cofactor for the oxygen-evolving complex (OEC) of the photosynthetic machinery, it catalyzing the water-splitting reaction in photosystem (II).

MANGANESE required by the plants for various physiological processes like photosynthesis, elongation of root, pollen germination and pollen tube growth. It is an activator of near 35 different enzymes. Plants with insufficient manganese shows “interveinal chlorosis” (leaves to turn pale green between the veins, with normal coloured areas next to the veins), as the deficiency progresses, the area between the veins becomes paler, enlarges and may brown and die.
